The lore
Nature runes have been around since 2001: a small green stone for transmutation and binding. Players call them “nats.”
A rune for binding
Bind. Snare. Entangle. Vines rise from the soil and hold a target still, each spell asking for more nature runes than the last. Some spells are about holding still. So is this coin.
The walk to the altar
Nature runes are crafted at an altar hidden in old jungle ruins. Crafting starts at level 44 with pure essence and a talisman or tiara. The regulars know the fairy-ring shortcut. The brave take the dangerous route. We take the scenic one.
Double nats
Practice long enough and one stone becomes two. At level 91, every essence crafts two nature runes. That milestone is known simply as “double nats.” Mastery is just patience, repeated.
Runecraft good, actually
For years the community joked that runecrafting was the worst skill: constant running, constant banking, lots of clicks. We heard the rumours. We kept crafting.
